About Immanuel CSI

Immanuel CSI Church, Elizabeth, New Jersey is a friendly, caring church with a growing fellowship celebrating children and families, encouraging teens, and young people, and supporting and nurturing adults and seniors.

The members of the Church seek to offer God's love through worship service and bible study.

Immanuel CSI Church was inaugurated and dedicated on November 1st, 2007 by Rev. Thomas Samuel, Bishop, CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese.

A very warm welcome to you all on behalf of the Immanuel CSI Church, Elizabeth, New Jersey. We are a Congregation of the Church of South India (CSI), established in 2004 and officially inaugurated and named as Immanuel CSI Church, Elizabeth on November, 1, 2007. We as a worshiping community follows the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and the traditions of the Church of South India. Church of South India (CSI) is one of the biggest denominations among the churches in India. The Church of South India is the result of the union of churches of different traditions like Anglican, Methodist, Congregational, Presbyterian, and Reformed. It was inaugurated in September 1947, after a prolonged negotiation among the various church traditions.

Immanuel CSI Church Family is grateful to God the Almighty ‘Immanuel’ who is journeying with us, for the moments we have shared, the challenges we have overcome, and the blessings we have witnessed as a community throughout the past. Our fellowship and gathering as a faith community, we strive prayerfully to serve our Lord Jesus Christ through worship and service to the community. The worship services are being conducted in CSI liturgy, both in Malayalam and English on alternative Sundays, and the life of the church is nourished with Sunday School, Choir, Youth, Women and Laity activities along with Cottage Prayers, Fasting prayers and Fellowship prayers.

We as a faith community hope and pray that you can experience the love of God and abundant grace, through communal worship and fellowship with us. We are warmly welcoming you and expecting your presence in worship services to friendship and fellowship to experience the love of God. We are glad that you took the time to visit our site.
